An authentic Italian recipe from our kitchen to yours. Buon Appetito!

Ingredients

- 4 precooked Chicken Cutlets

- 1/2 recipe Home-Style Tomato Sauce

- 4 hero rolls (6 inches each)

- 2/3 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

- Salt

Directions

1.  If the cutlets are cold, preheat oven to 400 degrees and lay out precooked cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. When the oven is ready, bake the cutlets for about 10 minutes or until hot and crispy. Flip cutlets once to crisp and heat on both sides.

2.  If the sauce is cold, warm over the stove or in the microwave.

3.  Slice and lightly toast the hero rolls. Then spread a spoonful of the sauce onto each of the rolls.  Add 1 cutlet to each roll. If the cutlet is too wide for the roll, slice it in half lengthwise and put both slices into the roll.

4.  Spoon a generous amount of sauce over the cutlets in each of the rolls and sprinkle Parmigiano over the tops of all of the sandwiches.

5.  To melt the Parmigiano, place the sandwiches back on the baking sheet and put them into the oven under the broiler briefly until the cheese just begins to bubble and brown.

6.  Plate and serve.
