Ingredients
- 1 pound very ripe (soft) yellow peaches
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
1.
Depending
on
your
preference,
peel
the
peaches
or
leave
the
skin
intact.
Proceed
to
remove
the
peach
pits
and
cut
the
peaches
into
chunks.
Place
the
cut
peaches
into
a
large
bowl
or
food
processor.

Add
the
rest
of
the
ingredients
to
the
mixing
bowl
or
food
processor.
3.
Puree
the
mixture
with
a
stick
blender
or
in
your
food
processor
until
it
is
uniform
in
color,
and
it
is a
smooth
and
creamy
texture
with
no
large
pieces.
4.
Assemble
your
ice
cream
maker
according
to
the
manufacturer's
instructions.
5.
Gently
pour
the
peach
mixture
into
the
gelato
maker
and
churn
it
per
the
manufacturer's
instructions.
6.
When
the
gelato
is
finished,
scoop
it
out
of
the
ice
cream
maker
into
an
air-tight,
freezer
safe
dish.
Cover
the
dish
and
place
it
in
the
freezer
for
2 -
3
hours
to
let
the
gelato
set.
7.
The
gelato
keeps
well
for
about
5 -
7
days.
